What Is a Microneedle Roller? The Home Tool Explained Honestly
A small head covered in very fine points on a handle, rolled across clean skin. Home versions have short points meant to carry a serum evenly across the surface.
On the label
Often sold as a dermaroller or derma roller, sometimes with a needle length in millimetres. A head sold for home use should be short; anything long belongs in a clinic.
What it does not mean
It does not mean a home version of professional needling. It does not push a serum deeper than the surface, and it does not do more if you press harder.
