What Does Non Comedogenic Mean, and Can You Trust It?
A claim that a product is unlikely to clog pores. There is no regulated definition and no standard test behind the words.
On the label
Treat it as a statement of intent from the maker. Lighter, water based textures tend to earn it more honestly than rich creams.
What it does not mean
It does not mean it cannot clog your pores. Skin varies and so does the testing, where there is any.
