How to use a microneedle roller, step by step

The routine is short by design. If it takes ten minutes it stops happening by the second week, and a step you skip does nothing at all.

Start on a clean, dry face

Wash and dry first. Rolling over makeup or the day pushes it around rather than removing it, and a damp face makes the head drag.

Roll once over each area

Light pressure, once over each area, moving in one direction rather than scrubbing back and forth. The point is even coverage, not force. If it hurts, you are pressing too hard.

Then leave it alone

Nothing to wash off, nothing to layer on top unless you already have a moisturiser you like. Then sleep. The serum stays on the surface overnight, which is the entire idea.

Keep the head clean

Rinse the head and let it dry before it goes back on the shelf. A roller that lives in a damp bathroom cup is a roller you should not be putting on your face.
