Nightly, on a clean face. One ampoule lasts about a week, and the box holds four.

Ingredients you can look up.

PDRN is the one the serum is named for, and the other three are there to hold water at the surface and even out how it looks. Rolled on rather than rubbed in, so it goes where you put it and none of it is left in your palm. No fragrance, no acid, no retinoid, which is why it suits skin that reacts to most things.

Ingredients

PDRN, Niacinamide, Hydrolyzed collagen, Hyaluronic acid.

What can the roller help with?

  • A woman smiling close up in warm daylight

Skin that feels dry and tight

A water based serum with hyaluronic acid and glycerin is there to hold moisture at the surface. Rolled on, it spreads thinly instead of sitting in patches your fingers missed.

  • A woman with curly hair smiling at home

    The look of rough texture

Nightly massage with a light serum is a more comfortable way to work product in than scrubbing. Skin often looks smoother after a few weeks of not skipping.

  • A woman laughing on a sunny street

The look of dry fine lines

When the surface is better hydrated, dry fine lines look softer. That is a cosmetic change in how skin looks, not a structural one.

  • A woman laughing with her eyes closed against a brick wall

A serum that will not sting

No acid. No retinoid. No fragrance. The list is water, glycerin, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and propylene glycol. Built for skin that reacts to most of what is on the shelf.

Everything else on the shelf, measured.

The subscription price did the maths for me.

I was going to buy one set and see, but the subscribe price is $29.25 versus $40.50 one-off, that is the whole reason I committed. It is cheaper than the serum I was using that stung, and it shows up before I need it. I have never once had to remember to reorder.

Ninety nights, and I kept it.

My skin reacts to most serums, so I kept the carton and used the full ninety nights before deciding. No sting from night one, and by the end my skin felt less tight in the morning. Knowing the refund was there made me actually use it properly instead of babying it.

The only subscription I have never cancelled.

I bought the first set as a one-off, then did the maths and switched to the subscription. At $29.25 a set it is less than half what I was paying for serums that stung and sat in the cabinet. The refill lands a few days before the last ampoule runs out, and it just arrives. I do not think about it, and I do not run out.

Four sealed ampoules, not one open jar.

This is the first serum where the product is not sitting open on my shelf for months. Each ampoule stays sealed until I need it, and the roller screws onto the fresh one. You can tell the formula is short because nothing sits on the skin, it just rolls in and disappears.

Skipping a month is two taps.

I have been burned by subscriptions that make you phone someone to leave. This one lets me skip a month from my account, no emails chasing me, no guilt trip. I went away for six weeks, skipped two deliveries, and it resumed exactly when I got back. That is the whole process, and it is the reason I stay.

Travels well, but glass is glass.

I take it on every work trip now, the roller and one ampoule fit in my toiletries bag and there is no pump bottle to leak. It survived two flights fine. Only reason for four stars: I would love a plastic ampoule option for when I am less careful with my bag.

One roller, three sets, no plastic pile.

I bought the device once. Every order since has been serum only, the head unscrews and fits the fresh ampoule, so there is nothing to rebuy and nothing to remember. Three sets in, my roller is still the original one, and my shelf has four little glass ampoules instead of a graveyard of half-finished bottles.

Switched from a $4 marketplace roller.

I had a cheap roller that shed and scratched. This one is 0.25mm, spreads the serum properly, and the head unscrews onto each new ampoule. I bought the device once and every order since has been serum only. The hardware is honest, it is an application tool, and it does the job properly.

Arrives before I run out, not after.

I used to be the person at the supermarket at 9pm buying whatever serum was on special because my bottle had died that morning. The subscription is timed to the set, about a month, so the next one lands mid-week, before the last ampoule is empty. I have not had a gap since I started. Only wish the courier gave a delivery window, hence four stars.

Free shipping and an easy skip.

I set up a subscription for my sister as a gift, it ships free anywhere in NZ so there is no surprise cost for her. When she was away for a month I skipped the delivery from my account in about ten seconds. No emails, no phone call, no guilt. That is how a subscription should work.
